Connecting communities
Air Tindi is proud to offer scheduled flights connecting Yellowknife to communities across the Northwest Territories and Alberta. Flights departing Yellowknife leave from the Air Tindi passenger terminal at the Yellowknife Airport, while flights to and from Edmonton operate through Edmonton International Airport, ensuring convenient connections for travelers.
Important Information
Air Tindi works hard to ensure all flights are operating efficiently and on time, however, flight schedule times are subject to change without notice. Please call us ahead of time to confirm the check-in time for your flight. Also, subject to traffic demands, some flights may not operate or may be combined with other flights.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Effective July1, 2017 the GNWT YZF Airport Improvement Fee (AIF) will be added to all tickets : $10/departing passenger from YZF to NWT destinations, $20 to destinations outside NWT
- Effective April 20th, 2022 airfare is subject to fuel surcharges
- Double to Total One-way amount for return trip cost
- YCH fare valid for children age 2-11 years old when accompanied by an adult
- YCD fare is valid for seniors 60 years of age and older with identification
- Infants under 2 years of age accompanied by an adult travel at no charge
- Reservations for confirmed seats are accepted, space available, up to 24-hour’s prior to departure
- Ticket Change Fee : $50 with less than 24-hour’s notice prior to departure time
- Ticket Cancellation Fee : $50, within 24 hours of departure time, cancellations are no longer eligible for refunds
- Passengers who NO-SHOW for their flight (fail to check-in before the cut-off time 45 minutes prior to departure) will lose(forfeit) their ticket and will be required to purchase another ticket to travel
- 50 pounds baggage allowance per ticketed passenger. Excess baggage will be accepted on a priority space available basis. Excess baggage charges will apply. All bags must be correctly labeled with passenger’s name
- All Yellowknife flights arrive & depart from the Air Tindi Passenger Terminal located at the Yellowknife Airport
- Always phone ahead to confirm your flight information in the event of changes
- Passenger Checkin Time for all flights is 90 minutes prior to flight departure time. Passenger Check-in Cut-off Time is 45 minutes prior to flight departure.
- Passengers traveling from Edmonton are encouraged to check-in as early as possible to allow time for required security screening.
