Dangerous Goods
At Air Tindi, safety is our number one priority. In order to ensure safe transportation of all baggage please review our list of common dangerous goods.
All dangerous goods offered for shipment with Air Tindi must be prepared, packaged and labeled in accordance with either the International Air Transport Association regulations or section 12 of the Canadian Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations.
In addition, all dangerous goods offered for shipment must be accompanied by the required shipper’s paperwork.

Air Tindi will provide guidance with your dangerous goods shipments however we cannot fulfill the responsibilities of the “shipper” as defined in the Canadian Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations.
Discovery Mining Services can provide preparation and shipping of dangerous goods by air.

Shipments of dangerous goods will be subject to an additional fee of $80.00

depending on packaging and document requirements. All vehicles and equipment must be drained of
fuel before being offered for transport.

Flammables:
- Aerosols (Bug Spray, Hair Spray)
- Glues and Adhesives
- Paint
Fuel Powered Equipment:
- Generator
- Water Pump
- Motors of Any Kind (Vehicle or equipment)
- Chainsaw
- Lawnmower
Compressed Gases:
- Bear Spray
- First Aid Kits with Oxygen
- Welding Gases (Oxygen, Acetylene, Nitrogen, Helium)
- Fire Extinguishers
Fuels:
- Camping Fuel
- Propane
- Drummed Fuel
- Jerry Cans
- Marine Fuel Containers
- Kerosene
- Lighter Fluid
Corrosives:
- Hypochlorite Solution
- Cleaning Chemicals (Bleach, Industrial Grill Cleaner)
- Battery Acid
Batteries:
- Lead Acid Batteries (Vehicle Batteries)
- Lithium Ion Batteries (Cordless Tool, Batteries, Laptop Batteries)
Explosives:
- Ammunition for Firearms
- Bear Bangers
- Flares
