Air Tindi Privacy Policy
Air Tindi Ltd. (“Air Tindi”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides cargo and passenger flights in Northern Canada. Air Tindi has implemented a number of privacy practices to help safeguard and manage personal information.
This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) applies to the personal information we collect through our websites (which can be found at airtindi.com and booknow.airtindi.com and referred to collectively in this Policy as our “Site”) as well as in the course of our customer service operations. The purpose of this Policy is to help you understand how we manage and safeguard your personal information.
Applicable Laws
Air Tindi is based in Canada and this Policy is designed to comply with Canadian privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.
Consent
We collect, use, and disclose your personal information with your consent and as permitted by applicable privacy laws. When you voluntarily provide personal information to us, we will imply your consent to use and disclose that information for the purposes you have provided it and in accordance with this Policy. The information we collect from you may be used to personalize your experience, improve customer service, process transactions and provide and improve the site.
By using the Site, you are agreeing to the collection, use and retention of information in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree to this Policy, please do not use our Site. By continuing your use of the Site following the posting of changes to this Policy, you will be deemed to have accepted those changes.

Air Tindi collects personal information in the course of providing services and our operations. Some collection of personal information outlined below is done by third-party service providers on behalf of Air Tindi. Personal Information You Provide to Air Tindi
- Contact Information: When using our Site, you may be asked to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, such as your name, e-mail address, mailing address and telephone number. Contact Information may be used to contact or identify you. However, you may visit our Site anonymously.
- Booking details: During the booking process, we use a trusted third party to collect the booking information you provide, such as passenger names, dates of birth, dates of travel, flight details, payment details, and optional add-on services, such as checked baggage.
- Payment information: Air Tindi does not collect payment card information directly from you. If you make an online or phone purchase, a trusted third-party service provider will receive your credit or debit card and billing information.
- Emails, messages and phone calls: if you email, call, chat, or otherwise communicate with Air Tindi, we may keep copies, records, recordings, transcripts, or notes of such communications including any personal information communicated by you. If we send you a marketing e-mail, we may collect information about engagement with the emails, such as whether the e-mail is opened, link(s) are used, the pages visited on our Site, and also related purchases.
- Third party contact information: in some circumstances, you may provide us with the contact information for another individual (for example, if you are booking a flight on someone else’s behalf). In these cases, we will collect only the required information for that third party, which could include name, date of birth, and other booking details as described above.
- Other information: we collect any other personal information that individuals give or submit directly to Air Tindi on a voluntary basis in relation to the services.
Personal Information Automatically Collected When Using the Site
- Data log information: Like most web sites, we may collect information about the visitors’ experience on our Site, known as “log data”, which your browser sends each time you visit our Site. This log data may contain information such as your IP address, browser type, browser version, the pages visited on our site, as well as the time and date of your visit, the time spent on these pages and other statistics.
Use of your Personal Information
Air Tindi uses personal information on the basis of consent for a number of purposes, and as permitted by law. Examples of how we may use personal information include the following:
- Purchasing: If you purchase products or services from us, we may use your information you provide to process your purchase. This can include managing your payments, handling and fulfilling your requests, and making sure the products you have purchased are delivered to the right electronic address. We may also use this information with respect to any related legal obligations, including the collection of debts. We will use your purchasing information to facilitate access to products or services you have purchased from us.
- Communications: We may use your personal information to correspond with you and to manage our relationship, including in relation to requests you make or to respond to your questions, comments, or concerns. We may also send you newsletters or promotional materials, and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt-out of receiving promotional communications from us by following the unsubscribe mechanism included in each e-mail we send.

Medical Travel
Air Tindi provides medical travel services from time to time. We collect, use and disclose personal information for such purposes in a limited way and as reasonably necessary to provide medical transport services. For example, we do not typically collect personal health information during the standard booking process, but a third party may share information with us as reasonably necessary about a medical traveller so that we can accommodate medical requirements related to the flight.
Disclosure of your Personal Information
Air Tindi may disclose your personal information if it is reasonable for the purpose of delivering a product or service you have requested, or as described in this Policy. Air Tindi will not otherwise sell, trade or transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as required or permitted by law.
Third Parties
In the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets involving Air Tindi LWe will disclose your personal information to trusted third parties as permitted by law in circumstances where we are working with another organization to provide services to you, or as our operations require, to perform functions on our behalf or for you directly. Some examples are outlined below.
Sale or Transfer of the Business
In the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets involving Air Tindi, your personal information may be transferred in relation to that transaction in accordance with the law.
Regulatory Requirements and Law Enforcement
We may disclose your personal information to governmental agencies, regulatory bodies or law enforcement when permitted or required to do so by law. Examples include regulatory requirements to provide passenger information, investigations, in response to a legally authorized request such as a subpoena, to protect the security and integrity of our operations or Site, and if we believe that such action is reasonably in compliance with the law.
Third Party Services Providers
In the course of our operations, we may authorize third-party service providers to collect, use, or disclose personal information on our behalf. Examples of some of the services we use third-party providers for include:
- Analytics: We use Google Analytics to assist us with reporting and analytics, member engagement and communications, and to track and analyse usage information about our Site. We also use Google Analytics to help identify and target relevant demographics for advertising and market development.
- Bookings: We use Skyline Aviation Software to manage booking information and flight reservations.
- Electronic communications: we use third-party e-mail service providers to facilitate marketing or promotional electronic communications. This includes Air Tindi newsletters. We also use third-party social media platforms to market, engage, and communicate.
- Payment Processing: we use Moneris Services Corporation, a PCI compliant third-party payment processor, to facilitate payment transactions on the Site. Payment card information you provide via the Site is collected and managed by Moneris. It is not provided to us. Moneris is based in Canada.
Retention of your Personal Information
We will retain your personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, for as long as we have a business or legal reason to do so, or as otherwise permitted or required by law.
Safety Measures
We have implemented various security measures to safeguard the security of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access such information. We use a secure server to ensure the confidentiality of your information. We do not store your payment card information on our servers once your transaction is complete. The security of your personal information is very important to us. That said, it is important to note that no method of Internet transmission or electronic storage is ever 100% secure. We implement appropriate and commercially accepted security measures to protect your personal information. However, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Links to Other Sites
Our Site may contain links to other sites that are not under our control. If you decide to click on one of these links, you will be redirected to a third party site. We strongly recommend that you read the privacy policy of each site you visit. Air Tindi cannot guarantee or control the content, privacy policies or practices of third party sites or services and is therefore not responsible for these aspects of third party sites or services.
Choices you have about your Personal Information
Cookies
Cookies are small files containing limited amounts of data. They may include a unique, anonymous identifier. Websites send cookies to your browser, which stores them on your computer’s hard drive. We and our third-party partners, such as Google, use both internal cookies (such as Google Analytics cookies) and third-party cookies (such as DoubleClick cookies). We use cookies to inform, optimize and place ads based on your previous visits to our Site. You can set your browser to refuse all cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. Analytics & “Do Not Track”
“Do Not Track” is a preference that you can activate on your browser. By activating “Do Not Track”, you indicate to the sites you visit that you do not wish certain information about you to be collected.
Air Tindi uses Google Analytics to place ads on third-party sites after you visit our Site. You can choose not to use Google Analytics for display advertising and customize the ads that you see on the Google Display Network by visiting the Google Ads settings page. For visitors wishing to prevent the collection and use of their data by Google Analytics, Google also suggests installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Protection of Minors
Our Site is not intended for individuals under 18 years old (“Minors”). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian. Please contact us if you are a parent or guardian and discover that your children have provided us with personal information without your consent. If we become aware that a Minor has provided us with personal information without parental consent, we will take steps to remove such information from our servers.
Access & Changes to your Personal Information
You have the right to access the personal information we have collected about you at any time. You have the right to update or correct any personal information we hold about you, to the extent permitted by law. You may revoke or change your consent to the collection of your data at any time, to the extent that this is considered acceptable and provided you give us reasonable notice.

In some cases, you may request that we stop using your personal information. If you wish to withdraw your consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of your personal information, please contact our Privacy Officer. We may not be able to action your request due to legal obligations or requirements. If you withdraw consent, we may no longer be able to provide certain services to you.

Air Tindi reserves the right to update this Policy from time to time. Any changes will be announced by posting the new policy on our Site. We recommend that you periodically check this Policy for changes.
