Air Tindi is currently looking for a Ramp Agent.  We pride our self on safety, customer satisfaction and professionalism. While based in Yellowknife NT, Air Tindi has been providing services for over 35 years, across Canada and in many different capacities, including essential schedule services to Northern communities, commercial industries (mining), tourism, government, and community support services.

Fleet: de Havilland Canada Dash-7, de Havilland Canada Twin Otter, Beech King Air 250, de Havilland Canada Turbo Otter, Cessna Caravan.

Responsibilities

Reports to the Ground Operations Manager

The Ramp Agent will be responsible for:
• Assisting the movement of aircraft on the ramp or dock;
• Assisting in preparing aircraft for flight;
• Loading and unloading freight;
• General upkeep of ground facilities and aircraft;
• Perform any other duties as required.

Requirements

• Grade 9 education, or equivalent
• Previous experience in a ramp/hangar setting is considered an asset
• Experience operating a Forklift is considered an asset;
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment;
• Effective communication skills;
• Ability to work shift work;
• Successful completion of an aviation related education is considered an asset;
